My best goes out to Jim,s Family and friends. He has been a good friend of mine for 30 years loving and playing music. I had no idea until today as not everyone reads The Day. He will be dearly missed. God Bless

My condolences to Jim's family. We were a close bunch growing up in Poquonnock Bridge during the 50s and 60s. Jim joins John Smarz, George Metcalf and John Harris in peace. Ron Lefebvre, Bob Bouge and Ernie Briggs carry on the memories of our youthful forays. Jim loved life and had a very bubbly personality that infected anyone he was with. He will be missed.

To Jim's Family,

My heart is broken to learn of Jim's passing.

Jim and I shared a special bond being high school and Navy buddies as well being a relation to my sister Diana and her husband Bob.

He may have mentioned that while on a Med cruise in 1968, our battle group (I was on a aircraft carrier, he was on a destroyer) was ported in the French Rivera, Jim and I serendipitously bumped into one another and went to a fantastic USO party in Nice that night...

I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend his services today, my back gave out a few days ago and I couldn't make the long drive from NH.

As always, Jim will be in my thoughts and prayers - he was a great friend and he will be sorely missed.
