We were heartbroken to hear of Janet's passing. She was my son Mason's teacher twice....at the toddler level and again at the preschool level. And we were thrilled with that! She seemed to have infinite patience and was always so positive! Even in the face of cancer. She was so committed to the children, their well-being and their education. Janet, we miss you!

Karyn & Jackie~

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family on the passing of your Mom.

I remember your Mom from gymnastics, and how kind she was to my children, especially my youngest. Your Mom had such a huge heart and was very giving to others.

Janet will always be in our hearts, she will be missed by her friends and family. The passing of a loved one is very painful and we do share your pain. Her thoughtfulness and willingness to help others was always present as was her love for family. Your last visit with us will be the most memorable as it was the last. It was a personal sacrifice you made to make the trip to Long Island to make sure you made your goodbye. We love you and you will always be in our prayers. I know there is an empty classroom in heaven waiting for you to continue your work. Gob Bless.
The entire Cassar family.

I was heartbroken when I heard of the passing of Janet.

Her and I met about 3 years ago when my twins started preschool in her class.

I quickly fell in love with her!

She was soft spoken, kind and had a way with the children that made you feel she genuinely cared for each and every child. Teaching was more than just a job. She adored each and every one of the children.

When the children found an ant or a spider in the room, it quickly became a world of excitement, with Janet right in the middle, teaching them something about the insect in a way that they would understand. It was heartwarming.

Janet quickly recognized the differences in the twins and encourage them to develop individual personalities. She was amazing!! I knew they were in the right place.

Her smile was warming and most importantly, she made me and my girls happy! This is truly a gift that cannot be replaced.

We lost an important person in our lives but gained an angel that will watch over us and guide us with her gentle spirit.

Rest easy our dear friend.

All our love,

Pamela, Briell and Brooklyn
