Janet Rose Obituary
She attended local schools in New London, graduating from the former Chapman Technical High School. United in marriage, to Frank P. Rose on Sept. 1, 1951, in St. Joseph Church, Frank predeceased her.
Janet was a tremendous cook especially in Italian cuisine for family and friends. Janet and Frank's passion were family vacations and spending time with them.
She is survived by her three children, Rayna, Erik and Todd Rose; three grandchildren, Taylor Rose, Cameron Caron and Tyler Rose; and a sister, Dorothy "Dottie" Tonucci. She was predeceased by three siblings, John Luzzi, Lorraine Richards and Geraldine Meehan.
Her family will receive relatives and friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, followed by a service at the Impellitteri-Malia funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London. Interment to follow, in St. Mary Cemetery.
