Jeffrey Longhenry Obituary
He was born on Sept. 23, 1961, in Ilion, N.Y., to Edith Longhenry of Niantic and David Longhenry of Raymond, N.H. He married Nilda Alcanetara June, 1999 in Hong Kong.
He graduated from Thames Valley Technical College suma cum laude and went on to become a field service engineer for Davis Standard, Corp. in Pawcatuck. He was responsible for commissioning, repairing and testing large scale capital equipment.
He founded DynaSys International traveling all over the world. He commissioned, serviced and provided training services on large capital equipment projects for many major corporations on the Pacific Rim. It was not unusual to get an email or phone call from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand, China, or Australia.
Although his travels took him overseas, he was an avid Patriots fan no matter where he was traveling in the world.
Jeff leaves his parents; and three children, Andrew Longhenry and his wife, Natalee, of East Lyme, Kristen Longhenry of New York, N.Y., and Joseph Longhenry of Camarillo, Calif.; and his former wife, Barbara Longhenry of Niantic. He also leaves two beautiful granddaughters, McKenzie Longhenry and Gracelyn Monroe Longhenry; his brother, Robert Longhenry and his wife, Cynthia, of Deerfield, N.H.; and his sister, Ruth Wright and her husband, Michael, of Waterford.
He was predeceased by his nephew, Robert Todd Longhenry Jr.
His family invites friends to join them from noon to 2 p.m. Oct. 5, 2013, at the New London Country Club on Lamphere Road in Waterford, to share memories and celebrate his life.
