Joan Alfiero Obituary
She attended local schools and graduated from the former Chapman Technical High School. She was united in marriage to the late Anthony "Tony" Alfiero June 15, 1957, in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church.
Joan worked as a receptionist at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her son Paul A. Alfiero and fiancée Robin Evans; and a cousin, Valerie Kelly, of Waterford. She was predeceased by a brother, Louis Camillucci.
All funeral services and Interment are private. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Avenue, New London has been entrusted with her care.

joan & i go way back to our mom's sewing club days. i usually would see her at the coffee shop at Hodge Square in later days. may God bless her soul! she was a fun lady when we got together!
