Anita and family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Joanne was one of the first people I had the pleasure of working with at the City of Groton 21 years ago. We became fast friends and had a lot of laughs together. She was an awesome woman and loved her family more than anything! I will keep her and your family in my thoughts and prayers. RIP Joanne

Where do I begin....I never thought I'd ever be writing this, we talked about being little old ladies together Anita and Michael, and to all the grandchildren, and that precious little great-grandbaby that she was so thrilled about when he was born. I regret that he's not going to be able to know what a loving person she was. My heart is breaking for the loss of your mom, I am so sorry.
Joanne was my sidekick, all the way from childhood, our families were all great friends, on through to high school, and beyond. She was always the driver (because she had the car, a awesome red Mustang) her nickname was Mustang Sally. Our group of friends every weekend went dancing to the Enlisted Men's Club on the Base, and downtown to the Grotto Disco!! We lived for our weekends God know I can go on for hours writing. I have all my memories, and I cherish them.
Joanne, I will miss you so much❣❣❣ one day I'll stop crying, maybe When I get to Heaven yours better be the next face I see, after my mom and dad's.
I Love You Joanne....you told me that day in the hospital that you loved me, and thanked me for making your life better. Girl, it was the other way around, trust me Joanne till we meet again, I'll watch for the Monarch Butterflies & Red Cardinals

Mike and Anita, just heard about your mom. She was a great caring and giving person, her family and friends met the world to her. Her life revolved around her grandchildren. “Gummy” was always there for them and enjoyed watching them grow.

Anita and Michael ,I am so sorry for your loss. I loved your mother! We used to compare notes about our children and how much you two and my two kids were so alike. We had some great laughs. I will always remember how sweet she was. She will be missed.
