Jocelyn Maynard Obituary
Despite suffering a brain injury in 1976 when struck by a drunk driver, Jocelyn overcame various challenges to find joy and live a long, resilient life. She stayed close with her children and family, always maintaining her sweet, silly spirit. She often scolded her adult children in jest, "You get a whippin'!"
A memorial will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at Union Cemetery, East Pattagansett Road in Niantic. The family will attend mass at 4 p.m. at Saint Agnes Church, followed by a celebration of life.
