I have some great memories of Johnny. When he was a lifeguard at Pleasure Beach, Johnny encouraged my oldest son (about 4 years old at the time) to start swimming-a great success. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Janet

Linda and Family,
Sincere condolences on the passing of John, a wonderful down-to-Earth humanitarian. When a rookie police officer, CIRCA 1971, driving the Taftville midnight beat, I'd see John on lower South B St. Here it is 50 years later and John is gone. Several weeks ago saw John outside local grocery store, wasn't sure it was him, but then his car with his vehicle vanity plate passed by. Wish I had approached him. GOD bless John!
