I remember Dr. John as our family called him as my dentist and a family friend. He was my favorite dentist and we all loved him in our family. I am sure he and my dad are up there talking about all kinds of things. Love to the family

John, or Doctor D, as I called him, was my dentist from the mid-1970s, when I moved here, until he retired. I was warned before I went to him that he was politically conservative in a way I might find objectionable, but political differences were never an issue between us. I actually looked forward to seeing him. His work was painless, thoughtful, and skillful, and I enjoyed talking with him when his hands weren't in my mouth. He was a gentle soul, and I was sorry when he retired. He was the sort of person whose smile can be referred to as "beaming." RIP.
