Dear Marcia and Family:
I have fond memories of working alongside Jack and Marcia while both volunteered at member events at the Florence Griswold Museum. I always appreciated Jack's analytic mind as he set up his efficient and aesthetically pleasing work station. I will always think of him as a kind, gentle soul; it has been a privilege to know him. Thank you Jack for your many contributions to budding artists and art lovers alike. Sending you a hug Marcia as you move through the coming days and wishing you comfort in hearing the wonderful impact Jack made on so many lives. With sympathy, Cheryl Poirier

Dear Fix Family,
Reading of Mr. Fix's passing brought back many good memories of the metalsmithing class he taught 23 years ago at NFA. Such a wonderful man and teacher! In fact, I still display one of my (Christmas-themed) creations every year at this time, and think back fondly of his class. As a scientist, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to explore my creative side. I delighted in reading about all his accomplishments in the paper. He certainly left his mark!
I wish you peace at this difficult time.

Jack was a much valued colleague and friend at NFA. He was great
with his students and fellow teachers. He did a great job as an educator and co-worker. I'm proud to have worked with him.
