He will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He was predeceased by a brother, James Hronis.
A visiting hour will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. with a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Sophia Hellenic Orthodox Church. Private interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Byles Memorial Home, New London is in charge of arrangements.

To the Hronis family:
My condolences for your loss. I haven't seen John in over 20 years but my remembrance of him is someone who was always a giving person. We met at NLHS in the 60s and he was truly a good person. May he rest in good peace.

I was fortunate to meet and come to know him a few years ago. He was a real gentleman, softspoken and kind. A real friend. On behalf of the James Gang Christian Fellowship please accept our deepest condolences for your loss.
