Johnny and I reconnected recently through email. We were friends many years ago in Connecticut when he worked at the bicycle shop with Scott. I remember John as a kind, sensitive, and thoughtful person who loved nature and music. He touched many lives, and will be deeply missed. RIP dear friend.

I did not know John personally, he was a guy who got on the school bus on Rt. 1 here in Westerly. However a neighbor of his who was a classmate of mine told me an interesting story of how he and John built a small boat during summer vacation. This was about 1962. My memory doesn't recall if it was sailboat or rowboat but I was impressed
then and still am now.
