John was an HC'66 classmate. His was a full life lived well for others. He obviously gave and got much from family, which enriched him in countless ways. I wish peace for the O'Briens in the days and weeks ahead.

John was a team mate with the Hartford Wanderers Rugby Club. Great captain. Sailed with him on his boat from Olde Lyme Ct. up to the Cape and back with Mike Fox and Steve Wilhelm. A crazy and treasured memory. Rest In Peace Obie.

Our prayers go out to Marty, Brenda and Tim and families. We remember John from Simsbury when our sons played soccer together. He was always so friendly and had a smile as big as he was.

Thoughts and Prayers to Marty,Tim,Brendan and their families. I had the pleasure of working with Jack and his sons on many projects including his barn on the River. I had great respect and admiration for him. I looked forward to working for him almost as much as I did visiting with him. He was bigger than life and an extraordinary Man who we will truly miss.Especially his smile and laugh.
