Joseph Taskoski Obituary

New London - Joseph Leon "Joe" Taskoski, born Sept. 10, 1938, in Benton, Ill,, passed away in New London, Jan. 16, 2024, at the age of 85.

Joe married Judy Ann Prather in Indianapolis, Ind., in 1963. He spent much of his life serving in the U.S. Navy. After retiring from the Navy, he worked for several years at TRACOR, Inc. in Groton, as an electrical engineer.

He was predeceased by his parents, Leon and Frances (Karnoski) Taskoski; and his brothers, Charles and Ronald. He is survived by his sister Mary Allred of Mantua, Utah; his daughter Laura Dreimiller; son Michael Taskoski; and grandchildren: Daniel Dreimiller, Jeffrey Dreimiller, Victoria Taskoski, and Sara Taskoski.

Joseph will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia on a date to be determined.
