My friendship with Kay started in 6th grade. She was always a kind and thoughtful person, but with an adventurous and sometimes mischievous streak. High school Pep Squad and a small glass of homemade wine at Deb’s grandparents house after sitting on the cold metal bleachers all afternoon. Dancing and singing to the music at Harkness Park events on a hot summer night. Moving all the way to Hawaii for love of family. Although we’ve lost touch over the years, those memories and more (with Deb and Diane) will always be with me.

To the family of Kay-
What a wonderful compassionate person from her days teaching with me at Sacred Heart to the days of L+M, to living nearby as a neighbor, she always had a positive attitude with a sense of humor and duty. May she rest in peace.
