Kerry Nystrom Obituary
Kerry was a teacher at Mystic River School. She was the wife of Michael Nystrom, of Mystic. He survives her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Dec. 23, at Sacred Heart Church, 56 Sacred Heart Drive, Groton. Burial will follow in Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic. There are no calling hours. Byles Memorial Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. A full obituary will appear in the Sunday edition of The Day.

Mrs. Nystrom was my first grade teacher in 2011. Even 15 years later, I remember her warmth and kindness, whether it was teaching me to read or giving me a hug in class.
