You were one of a kind, like the rarest type of gem,
Your family can't begin to thank you,
For the influence you had on them.
You taught us how to make a home, And to help our children grow.
Teaching by your example
Was the greatest way to know.
As our father you were dearly loved,
You could not have wished for more.
Everyone loved the warm smile you had, When you greeted them at the door.
Your body was becoming tired, And we know it was for the best,
You overcame so many obstacles, That you really deserve your rest.
Please keep with you all our love, And share it with those that are gone before,
We'll never forget you Dad, our love For you will last forever more.
Our Dad didn't tell us how to live….
He lived and let us watch him do it!?
