Lorraine Balducci Obituary
As a woman of strong faith, she was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help for many years and was an active member of the Ladies Guild.
She is survived by her children, Gina Allen and husband Edward; son John Balducci and wife Cathryn; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband Domenic, she was predeceased by her son Michael Balducci; and daughter Susan Krusinski.
A service will be held at noon Monday, Dec. 9, at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Road, Uncasville. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in New London. Calling hours from 10:30 a.m. to noon will be Monday prior to the service.

Gina and John,
So very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Lorraine was such a good friend to my mom. She, also, was so nice to me and my family. Remember when they were cub scout leaders together. Funny times. She was the best!

I really enjoyed working with Lorraine in the Ladies Guild and looked forward to seeing her near the last seat on the right in church. I didn't know why I could never reach her phone in the afternoon until she admitted she shut the phone off every afternoon for a nap. I sometimes do that now.
Lorraine was a hard worker and a lot of fun to be around. She will be missed!
