Marion Frink Obituary

Niantic - Marion Ruth Frink, 82, passed away peacefully July 12, 2025. Marion was born April 20, 1943, and lived a life devoted to family, friends and community.

Marion was preceded in death by her beloved husband Earl Richard Frink Jr.; her mother Ruth Hutchinson and husband Calvin; her father Frederick Balosi and wife Blanche; her brother Wally Sylvia; and granddaughter Tina Proctor. Marion is survived by her loving daughters, Derrie Proctor (Rick), Barbara Adams-Frink, and Carleen Frink; her grandchildren: James Proctor, Jonathan Babcock, Brittany Kahl, Emily Adams and Alicia and Leah Sanders; great-grandchildren: Gabe, Marcus, Serenity, Henry, Levi, Natalie, Olivia and Hailey. She also leaves behind siblings, Barbara Kiely, Linda Ogan, George Kane and Janeen Stovall. Marion's memory will also be carried on by countless other family members, including Tammy Sullivan, and by dear friends whose lives she touched over the years.

Marion was a dedicated and active member of the Waterford Regional Lions Club for over 40 years, where she devoted her time to community service and made life-long friendships. Her generosity and kind personality made a lasting impact on all who knew her. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her community spirit, her warm and steady presence, sense of humor and her unique collectible items. Her memory lives on in all those who love her.

A memorial calling hours service will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Lake Avenue, Niantic. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Marion's memory to the Waterford Regional Lions Club, an organization close to her heart.

Dear Barbara, Derrie, Carleen, and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Always a joy to be around. Always made me feel like family. Although it matters not to you who are left here to grieve, take solace in know she is reunited with your father, Tina and other family and friends.
