Born in Norwich, the son of John and Frances (Donovan) Daly, Marty graduated from Norwich Free Academy and Becker College in Worcester, Mass. He served in the Army National Guard for several years as a Senior Aircraft Repairman. He retired from Incase in Hopedale, Mass. in 2002, as the company's Comptroller. He was a lifetime member of the Jacques Cartier Club, serving as Treasurer and Financial Officer and a member of Pautipaug Country Club. He also was instrumental in establishing the Norwich Slow-Pitch Softball League.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Angela (Schena); his son, Martin Paul and his wife, Judith, their two children, Conor and Ciara, from South Orange, N.J. and his daughter, Mackenzie Daly and her husband, Taylor Heal of Mystic. He is also survived by his brother, John Daly of Long Boat Key, Fla. and Stonington. His family and numerous friends, who loved him dearly, will miss his good nature and laughing Irish eyes.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, July 17, at St. Mary's Church in Jewett City.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory may be made to Hospice of Southeastern CT, 227 Dunham St., Norwich, CT 06360.
The family would like to thank the Oncology Department of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Hospice of Southeastern CT for their kindness and support.

Hi Ang,
So sorry for your loss. Pete lukin left a meesage on my cell as I was in Alaska on vacation and wasn't back in time for the memorial service. Marty was a good friend and boss.
