Mary Willis-Thomas Obituary
She was born in New London, on May 29,1956, the daughter of Barbara (Vaughn) Bingham Scanlon of Cathedral City, Calif., and the late Edwin Bingham. A graduate of Waterford High School, she was the wife of Bruce Thomas, who survives her.
Mrs. Thomas was a receptionist for Legends Livery Service.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, Richard Willis Jr. of Groton; daughters, Robin Musto and Vicky Prejean, both of Oakdale, and Barbara Willis of Norwich. She has two stepsons, Bruce E. Thomas and Nathan Thomas, both of Groton and two stepdaughters, Stacy Kurtz and Caroline Thomas, both of Groton. She is survived by 15 grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Leslie Bingham of Palm Springs, Calif.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Ave., New London. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Jordan Cemetery, Waterford.

Frank and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the entire family.
There are so many great things to say about Mary, her heart, her sense of humor. Mary was a tiny lady with a great deal of courage and strength. We loved her and will miss her so much.
May God rest her soul and comfort all of you.
