I worked for Moriarty Brothers in the late '60s. I can't say I worked for Matt Jr, I worked with him. I was astonished that both he and his brother were not afraid to get their hands dirty and work shoulder to shoulder with us. My whole life I have tried to emulate the lessons learned from the Moriarty family. I last saw Matt Jr. around Thanksgiving '77. I had moved to Canada and stopped in to see old friends. It was snow tire season and Matt Jr. was in the back room sweaty and dirty, mounting snow tires and balancing them. Because that's what he would do. I have always admired him and cherished the memories.
