I am so sorry to hear about Mel. There are no words i can say to heal your hearts. Someday though i promise, it will hurt less. As time passes you will be able to remember more of the happy memories instead of the pain she suffered. I wish the best for you and her beautiful girls. They will be the strength you need to go on each day.
Love,

I stopped in my tracks when I found out that Melanie did not have much time left on this earth. My heart was broken. I was at work, and I could not stop crying. I will always remember Melanie as a beautiful woman, both inside and out. She did not deserve to suffer the way she did. But I guess God has his or her reasons. Everyone who knows Melanie was hurt and saddened by her passing. I pray for her children, parents, and sister. She will always be a part of me.

For what can I say? Anyone who had the pleasure to know Melanie,Even if just for a short time.Needs not to be told about how kind and giving Melanie was.But for those who were not lucky enough to get to know her.Should know that Melanie was the most sefless person you could meet. She had always tried to fit everyone in her day to day.Wheather she had to drive back and forth through 5 towns just to make it to three family functions,or watch 7 kids just to help out a friend. She rarely ever had time to herself. But thats what Melanie was about. She loved to have loved ones around. She used to tell me that she didnt care how poor she was as long as she had her family she felt as rich as midas.Melanie was never one to judge. She felt that people who pass judgement are the ones that need help the most.Melanie is my bestfriend. She always helped me see the good in every situation.I am a better person because she loved me..And I love her very much.Rick, and Deb,I can only imagine the greif and sorrow you feel. But I want so say thank you for giving us a sweet angel. My thoughts and prayers are always with you and the girls. All my love.

Deb, Butch and family, there are no words in any language or any form of condolence that can ease the gut wrenching sorrow you are experiencing. If there was a way any of us could have given up some of our time here so Melanie could stayed longer, we would do it without a second thought. Since I found out about Melanie, I have prayed every day for her. Now, I pray that each of you have strength. Melanie's girls will give you renewed strength and purpose, another gift from Melanie. Peace will begin to grow knowing you carry Melanie in your hearts and souls forever. Please know that even though we are not as close as we were growing up in earlier years, we are all still united in our love. We stand a silent vigil with you.

Michael Popa Jr, went to school with her at Grasso Tech. And i will miss her. leaving this world at a very young age is just heartbroken, and leaving three beautiful kids behind is just so very sad. She is in a very special place now watching over her kids now. It's scary dying that young espically when I turned 30 last week. With Melanie's passing it has me thinking that live your day like it's going to be your last, and always keep saying I love you to our loves one, cause you never know if you will see the next day. I will miss you Melanie and I know you will be watching your kids and now you are with god now, pain free. I just hate seeing kids die that i went to school with. Bye Melanie, I'll be praying for you.xoxoxo Mike
