Difficult to believe it's been a year already today since you left us, Mike. Sometimes I catch myself waiting for a phone call from you then realize there won't be one, but I smile and say to myself "He's just been delayed." Then a memory or 2 pops into my head and it's as if you did call. You showed kindness to many while you were alive and that legacy of you will live on for those who had the good fortune of knowing you and having you as a friend. Peace to Dory & his family - Paul

My heart goes out to Mike's wife Dory, to Mike's grandchildren & to his children. Sincere sympathies to all. Mike & I go way back, working together at Verona in East Providence in the early 70's. A few years later, we went to different companies, but often seeing him as his customer with him calling on me as a dye & chemical salesman. But the difference with Mike was that he treated me as a friend first, helping me, & never being a "pushy" salesman for his own benefit. One instance was that he warned me of a coming shortage of a certain dyestuff that was critical to a number of our products, so that I stocked enough to last 6 months without missing any deadlines. His company had no replacement for it. He made me look like a star to my employer. That's the kind of guy Mike was - helping people without expecting anything in return. Many people most likely have stories similar to this. So sorry to see you go Mike. Your friend, Paul

Mike, may you rest in Peace. Oh the times we had playing Slo-Pitch Softball in Willimantic and the great times that followed up the games. Lots of laughs and good fun. Will never forget the best wedding celebration I have ever attended. My God, 21 years ago. My wife and I were there on the back of the ferry. What a wonderful day. Thanks for the memories my Friend.

I am so deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Mike´s passing. I have nothing but warm memories of him. I remember Uncle Mike taking my brothers and I out on his boat for a day and explaining so much about the ocean- truly a stand out memory from my childhood! I also remember sleepovers with Kathy and JoAnna when I was very young.
I pray that by reading posts such as this, you may find some comfort in memories and ease the sense of loss.
Sending Love!!!
