Patrick Dougherty Obituary
He is survived by his wife Peggy (Markey) Dougherty; his three daughters, Mara, Casey and Brynn; two sons-in-law, Ryan and Benjamin; his four grandchildren: Patrick, Shea, Landon and Hunter; long with his siblings: Michael, Kathleen, Rosemary, Margaret, Thomas, Maureen, Anne, Nora and John. He was predeceased by his father and mother William and Elizabeth (Kimball) Dougherty; along with two brothers, William and Dennis Dougherty.
Patrick was a kind man who would help anyone he could. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, drinking beer and watching the Steelers.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 141 Central Avenue, Norwich. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Saturday, Nov. 15, at St. Patrick Cathedral, 213 Broadway, Norwich. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Vincent de Paul's Place of Norwich or New London Homeless Hospitality Center in New London.
