Philip J. Beauregard

1935 - 2021

Mystic - Philip J. Beauregard, 86, passed away Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021. He was the husband of Patricia (Tetreault) Beauregard with whom he shared 64 loving years of marriage.

Born in Worcester, Mass., the son of the late Ernest and Leo'Ria (Migneault) Beauregard; He was the beloved brother of Roger Beauregard and his wife Rita of Dartmouth, Mass., Louise Carreiro of Fairhaven, Mass., and the late Ernest Beauregard and Leoria Dantas; and the brother-in-law of Paul Tetreault of West Warwick, R.I., and the late Arsenio Carreiro.

He is the father of Colleen Gifford and her husband Robbie of Mattapoisett, Mass., Caroline Britto and her husband Mark of Stonington, and Christine Eckersley and her husband Dan of Mystic; and the uncle to close niece Cheryl Foisy and several other nieces and nephews.

Phil, better known as Peppere or Pep, is the grandfather of grandson, Benjamin Britto of Nantucket, Mass., and four granddaughters, Jenna Gifford of Mattapoisett, Mass., Molly-Kate D'Ambra of East Greenwich, R.I., Bailey Eckersley of Mystic, and Madison-Rose Britto of Stonington; he is also the great-grandfather to Ava Gifford and has a great-grandson on the way.

Phil had a successful career as the owner of Interstate Pump and Tank for over 30 years. His job did not end when he clocked out as he was the family handyman always fixing something for his three daughters. Phil's greatest joy in life was his daughters and grandchildren. Phil's happiest memories all surround the many days and years spent at Disney World with his family.

He is happy to reunite with his beloved dog and companion Mandy, whom he missed dearly.

A private mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church in Mystic. There are no calling hours for Philip.
