Phyllis Stevenson Obituary
She was born May 2, 1938, in West Springfield, Mass., the daughter of Fred and Eileen (Hartung) Jones.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 48 Grand St., Niantic. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, at St. Agnes Church, Haigh Ave., Niantic. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Niantic.

My sincerest condolences on the loss of your mom. She was one of the first people to welcome me to St Agnes when I moved here 8 years ago. Sorry to learn of your mom's passing. She was a lovely lady who I also knew as Nebiso Bob's wife. Many happy times at the holidays and my mom's Christmas luncheon.

I am so sorry to hear of Phyllis's passing. She was such a wonderful woman and gave so much to so many. She will be missed. I have not seen her much over the last number of years but I will never forget her dedication to her family, friends and he Church.
