He was born Jan. 4, 1956, in New London, the son of Malcolm Francis and Julia (Pitt) Getty.
Raymond was employed for many years at Walmart in Groton.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Avenue, New London.

i remember Raymond from him hanging out with my uncles dick robert and bruce wood . He was a nice guy also knew him from the big y in groton and Walmart . So sorry for your loss my condolences to all of his friends and family members . Sincerely Eleanor Grimes
