Raymond Szalkowski Obituary
Raymond graduated from Norwich Technical High School. He owned the Four Seasons beauty salon in Uncasville, worked at Snappy Car Rental in Groton and then went on to retire as a slot supervisor in Foxwoods after 20 years.
Raymond leaves behind his long-time partner of 58 years Stephen Berube of Waterford; a brother, Frank Szalkowski, and his wife Shirley of Norwich; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Home service at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at the Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Avenue, Norwich. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Please visit www.labenskifuneralhome.com to leave an online condolence for Raymond's family.
