Richard Tyler Obituary
He was born in New London, on July 31, 1945, to Lawrence and Shirley (Tefft) Tyler. He served in the U.S. Army and worked throughout his life at Electric Boat in Groton.
On Oct. 28, 1978, he married his beloved wife, Jacquie, in Montville.
Rich is survived by his mother, Shirley; his wife, Jacquie; his sister, Sharon and her husband, Robert Parrett; daughter, Tanya Hunter; sons, Larry Dennis and Richard Dennis; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his father, Lawrence and a niece, Shannon Parrett.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 53 Norwich-New London Turnpike, Uncasville. There is no funeral service, and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
Donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc.

To the family,
I left dept 228 in 1983, to this day I have not forgotten how much Rich taught me about Lead Bonding back in 1977 when I first started. He was a wonderful man. RIP Richard.
