Robert enjoyed helping local residents with odd jobs and fishing.
You have left all of us beautiful memories full of endless love and laughter. Remembering you always and forever.
Calling hours will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a service from 11 a.m. to noon, Feb. 28, at the Shiloh Baptist Church, New London.

My sincerest condolences to the family. Rob was a strong man with a big heart. Very energetic in his younger days and really cool and laid back as he got a little older. He was fun to be around and funny. His persona was genuine and unique. If he didn´t like you, you would know it. If he liked you or loved you, you would know it. Whenever I saw Rob I felt good about seeing him. He would always greet me with a handshake and a playfully aggressive hug and say something funny to have me smiling and laughing, and as we carried on, leave me with some kind of riddle or something profound to ponder. That part stands true. He defiantly still has me/us thinking about some of the uniquely Robert « Scrap » Lee Things that only he would say. Love you Scrap rest easy Bro.

My brother Robert loved all of my kids. Devanese, Sharrese,Tyshawn, Katiana and Krista. He would ask me to send him pictures. He himself was a great dad. When I lived in Connecticut, he would bring his kids over to see us. I was so proud of him. Even though I'm his older sister he would protect me like He Was My Big Brother. I can still hear him say "Love You Girl!" and I replied " Love You too." Now I say "I will Love you forever!"

I appreciate knowing Uncle Robert and seeing how he interacted with his children. He was tough, but he did care, which is a great attribute of his. Forever love and missed by his niece Devanese Ellison and nephew in law Brian Ellison Jr.

Cousin I was not ready to say good-bye to you, who is going to take me fishing now. We can never say no to our Heavenly Father when he say it is time to come home we must do just that. It is hard to say good-bye but God is our all and alpha omega beginning and our end he is our everything. Your home now is in the Land of Milk and Honey in the Father's Arms there is your resting place. I miss you already your fishing will be even more abundant and better than ever now no worries.
