Just saw this posting on Face book. My sympathy for his family & friends. I worked with him @ N.H. He was a kind soul, who everyone liked & he took excellent care of the clients. My he rest in peace.

Looking Back
Moments flash fleetingly; then dissolve.
What effect each memory imprints in my cells is a mystery.
Who I am exists only for this instant.
Yet this body records my history on hypersensitive film.
The illusion is the film's reality.
All past imprints are ghostly vapors pretending
to be real.
Boomerang Spirit
The body is the sacred temple of the soul.
As it burns, boomerang spirit is flung into ocean fog.
Thru adult years,
sculptor glues ashen soul specks into mosaic chalice,
then chisels depth-
preparing for spirit's tidal renewal on salty sea swells.
Portrait
Steam rising off pond traces portrait:
Hawk beak perched on Spruce Pole
gazes on snow-chilled horizon.
Claws clamped to trunk,
absorbing eyes contemplate
time evaporating into NOW.

Rob was a member of our Creative Writing Group in Marlborough. He was a very talented poet, and a kind, gentle generous person. He will be missed.
Into the Wind
Some day I shall forget it all and
Dive into the wind.
I'll fly away above it all where
Memories rescind.
A fresh clean worldno worry,
Hurt or pain.
Free to fall through space and time,
Till all is new again.

I am very sorry to hear about Rob's passing. I recently moved to Brooklyn, NY but lived in Willimantic, CT for many years and was a member of the meditation group Rob attended. I always liked him. He was warm and kind. He was very open about his struggles and showed tremendous courage and resilience. I always appreciated his presence and what he chose to share with us. I'm sorry that I won't get to see him again.
My condolences to his family and loved ones.

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Rob. I have worked with Rob these past few years and will never forget our talks about music, his recent travels, and about his cat whom he loved dearly. Rest in peace my friend!

I'm a member of a meditation group in Willimantic that Rob attended for several years. I know he suffered deeply, but I also know that he genuinely and bravely sought healing and peace for himself and those around him. Rob's presence and contributions greatly enhanced our group. Those of us who knew him are much saddened and I'm very sorry to know that we will not be seeing him again.
I wish I could attend the service but I will be traveling.
My condolences to all his family and friends. The world is a more impoverished place without Rob in it.

For Rob
Brave and soaring spirit
Made evident in verse
And in melody.
Moments of terror
In shaking bones,
Sinew, and flesh.
The heartwarming, altruistic smile,
Beaming, and reflecting the worth
of a true friend.
The listening ear, and wise counsel
Of an ageless soul
Practiced at giving.

Robert was a wonderful man. I got to know him as we both collected toys. Back in the early 2000's, he'd stop in my antique toy store and we chatted about the world in general, but mostly about Jesse. He was so proud of his accomplishments. He will be missed by us and his family. Our condolences to his family.
