Laura and Marissa...Daddy loved you both very much. I am sad for his passing and have no words to take away your pain and grief. I regret the past and hope he had joy in his life with Dianne. He was so proud of you both and I'm sure his love for you both, Tom, Frank and Anthony was endless. You were his life. I remember the good years . Just wanted to share my feelings and let you know life is too short to harbor bad feelings. I love you both forever and wish I could console you. Let me take some of your pain. Please give Diane my sympathy. She was the partner he searched for in his life. Wish I could give you comfort. I will always love you both.

So sorry to hear of Steve's passing. He was a high school and college friend and roommate. He was a lot of fun to be around. Sadly, we lost touch.

Steve was a terrific human being. I worked with him beginning in 1991 and although I haven't seen him in a few years, I considered him a good and dear friend. I knew him to be an example of an unselfish loving father through some difficult years and remember him glowing when he told me about Dianne. He built his business at Charter Oak with integrity. As a top advisor, he cherished the idea of how many times he earned the right to go to President's council and how many advisors would call him for advice. He loved his suits and exemplified class.

I only knew Stephen as my financial advisor at Charter Oak. I enjoyed my yearly visits with him. He was knowledgeable, kind, fun to talk to and always asked about my family and he loved talking about his. I truly miss him and his advice. My sincere condolences to his whole family.

Steve and I attended
both junior and high schools together.
Though I have not seen him frequently, we were friends, and had many laughs. He had a great sense of humor. May
he rest in peace, and
my thoughts/prayers
are with his family.

Our deepest sympathy to the Sylvester family. Stephen was our trusted financial advisor for many years . We truly enjoyed our meetings with him and he made us feel so at ease with all his ideas and the work he would present to us. We shared much more, our travels, our love for the Patriots, our families. We came to look forward to each visit with him, so we were saddened to learn he had left last November. You have much to be proud of, your husband, father, grandfather, and true friend. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. Bless you, Stephen, for all you did for us. May you rest in Peace.
