I knew Steve in high school and at Brown. He was a wonderful person and I regret never really staying in contact other than at reunions. I just read that he passed away in the Brown Alumni Magazine and wanted to express my very belated condolences.

Recently we renewed the acquaintance at Seven Stars at the Tuesday coffee group. He was a thoughtful, sincere gentleman who appeared to have enjoyed his teaching career and his garden work with the students. The world is a little less without "Weffe".
