Tadeusz S. Darzycki

Norwich - Tadeusz S. Darzycki, 81, of Norwich passed away peacefully Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025. Born Nov 7, 1944, in Jagiella, Poland, he was the son of the late Franck and Mary Darzycki. Tedeusz was the devoted and loving husband of Helena (Trebenda) Darzycki with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.

Tadeusz dedicated 32 years of service to Pfizer where he was known for his strong work ethic. Outside of his career, he took great pride in his lawn and home construction projects and was always ready to lend a helping hand to neighbors and friends. He enjoyed dancing and was also a member of the choir at St. Joseph Church where he especially liked to sing during the Christmas season. You would always find him starting friendly conversations with a stranger. His generosity, craftsmanship and smile touched many lives.

He is survived by his brother Marian Darzycki; his son Lee Darzycki; and his daughter Ella Darzycki along with her partner Greg Gueutal. Tadeusz will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew him.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 141 Central Avenue, Norwich. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at St. Joseph Church, 120 Cliff Street, Norwich. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
