Thomas Oliveri Obituary
Tom worked at The Day Publishing Co. for nearly 40 years. It was a job he loved. He worked nights at the Norwich-New London Drive-In. His next career was retirement in Cascades at Estero, Fla., where he was known as "Mr. Cascades." He enjoyed life to its fullest with his family and friends.
Born in New London, August 25, 1935, he was the son of Catherine (Craddock) and Raymond Olivieri. Tom, a graduate of New London High School, married Lois (Young) Oct. 1, 1955.
He is survived by Lois and their five daughters: Dawn Oliveri (Fred Schroeder) of Providence, R.I., and Estero, Fla., Nancy Oliveri of Brooklyn, N.Y., Laurie Schemenaur (Thomas Schemenaur) of Estero, Fla., Sandra Kent of Ft. Myers, Fla., and Linda Landau (Mark Landau) of Kailua, Hawaii; four grandchildren: Sean O'Leary, Jacob and Zachary Landau and Taylor Kent; great-granddaughter Sophie O'Leary; and his sister Joan Novallina. He was predeceased by his parents; and his brother Raymond Olivieri.

Tom started off being Mr. Oliveri when I used to see him at the front gate of the drive in. Over the years, I always enjoyed our conversations whenever we saw each other. I had the utmost respect for Tom and the kindness and joy he always displayed, and enjoyed hearing the pride in his voice when we talked of his daughters. Wonderful memories, a spectacular person. My deepest sympathies to all his family

Litttle Joe was my classmate at Saltonstall, Jennings, and through out high school. He was one of the brightest kids in the class. A wonderful friend for life. My deepest sympathies to his family. I will miss his quick wit. May his memory be eternal.
