Walter Pitt Obituary
Walter was born May 12, 1926, to the late William Pitt and Carrie (Hudson) Pitt, in Newton, Mass. Walter lived in Glastonbury for 55 years.
Besides his wife of 54 years, Walter is survived by his six children, Deborah and her husband, George Abad, of Groton Long Point, Sarah Pitt and her husband, Carlos DelCristo, of Cos Cob, Jennifer Pitt of Waterford, William C. Pitt, Esq. of Glastonbury, Cynthia and her husband, Philip Black, of San Diego, Calif. and Betsey Pitt and her partner, James Quinlan, of Manchester; and 16 grandchildren. Walter also leaves his devoted caregiver, Caridad Martinez of Manchester.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, April 25, at the Mulryan Funeral Home, 725 Hebron Ave., Glastonbury. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 27, in the Congregational Church of South Glastonbury.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Congregational Church in South Glastonbury's Building Fund, 16 High St., South Glastonbury, CT 06073.

Always there in the garage, or the back yard, or enjoying the cabin up north. He watched over all of the neighborhood kids and kept us in line! Sorry he's gone but your memories and great family are his legacy that live on.
