Walter Treat Obituary
Walter is survived by his three daughters, Kimberly Treat-Skorupski (John), Kathleen Waido, and Karen Haldas (Jason); a sister, Connie Beran (Bruce); and six grandchildren: Matthew, Ella, Hunter, Joshua, Nicholas and Tula. He was also predeceased by his two sisters, Betty Surprenant (Richard) and Janice Fallon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at St. Joseph Church in Occum. A Gathering of Friends will immediately follow at the Maennerchor Club, Taftville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Masonic Charity Foundation, 309 Otrobando Avenue, Norwich, CT 06360.

My deepest sympathies to Buzzy's daughters and grandchildren on his passing. He came to Veterans Rally Point a handful of times with his good friend Kelly Chapman. There ended up being a group of four friends from the Sprague Rod & Gun club that would come together. We enjoyed getting to know him. May he rest in peace now.

I remember Buzzy cutting my hair as a child when I lived in Baltic. He was always jovial. Rest in peace Buzzy
