Alice S. Bayless

of Desert Hot Springs, California, died June 19, 2014, of cardiovascular disease. She was born April 9, 1928, to Guadalupe Salgado and Prudencia Suarez Salgado in Tucson, Arizona. She married Arnold Z. Bayless on Dec. 23, 1960 in Tuscson. She is survived by daughter Carmen Bayless of Desert Hot Springs; sons Richard Bayless of Phoenix, Arizona, David Bayless of San Dimas, California, and Donny Bayless of Placentia, California; sister Grace Soto of Tucson; brother Ruben Salgado of New Mexico; and 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband. A rosary will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. June 30, 2014, at Acheson & Graham Mortuary, Riverside, California. A funeral Mass will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 30, 2014, at St. Catherine's of Alexandria, Riverside. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. June 30, 2014, at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside.
