May our Lord Jesus Christ comfort each of you family members in the loss of Bernard (known as a friend and classmate in Placentia and in Fullerton High School --Class of 1939 as Bernardo--). If I remember correctly,
he married early to our classmate Mona Ratliff. He has accomplished many fine things. Feel free to contact me re further memories. 1-714-447-0333.

My condolences to the Yorba family on their loss. Your father cared enough and had the pride to pass on the history of your important family. you will carry with you the stories and the history of your family that he spent many years teaching you about. My family is also an early California family with routes in San Juan Capistrano. The Yorba Adobe was next to ours and our two families intermarried several times over the past two centuries.

I too have heard stories about Arthur Yorba. A book on the Yorba family would be delightful. I lived in Placentia and Yorba Linda. Long live the history of this area. "Keep the home fires burning "

I met your father many years ago at Paul DiAmico`s . He told me about his family. I thought he was a very interesting man. I always thought he should write a book. I`m sorry for your loss.
