My condolences to the Yorba family on their loss. Your father cared enough and had the pride to pass on the history of your important family. you will carry with you the stories and the history of your family that he spent many years teaching you about. My family is also an early California family with routes in San Juan Capistrano. The Yorba Adobe was next to ours and our two families intermarried several times over the past two centuries.

Carolee and family,
I feel your pain and I'm deeply sorry for your loss. We shared many stories of our dads and it still gives me a smile when I think of them, may he rest in peace and I hope he meets my dad in heaven and says hello to him for me. My prayers are with you and your family. Love Espie

I too have heard stories about Arthur Yorba. A book on the Yorba family would be delightful. I lived in Placentia and Yorba Linda. Long live the history of this area. "Keep the home fires burning "

I met your father many years ago at Paul DiAmico`s . He told me about his family. I thought he was a very interesting man. I always thought he should write a book. I`m sorry for your loss.
