Bonnie Louise Pryor

July 26, 1930 - November 30, 2017

Bonnie Louise Pryor died peacefully in her sleep into Our Lords hands at her home in Rancho Mirage, Ca. on November 30, 2017. Her family was at her bedside.

She was born on July 26, 1930 in Owens, Iowa, and was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Frances Bortscheller, her husband of 50 years, Clyde R. Pryor and son James R. Pryor.

She graduated from St.Anthony High School in Long Beach. She went on to receive her R.N. from St. Vincent's College of Nursing in Los Angeles. She was a devout Catholic teaching C.C.D for 13 years as well as a substitute teacher for 12 years. She was a wonderful mother who enjoyed bridge, learning languages, football and travelling the world.

She is survived by daughter Vicki Knollmiller (Scott), son David Pryor (Cinzia), granddaughter Dr. Silvia Pryor (Dr. Cody Wohlman, grandsons Steven Knollmiller (Jamie), Andrew Knollmiller (Brittany), Shane Pryor and great granddaughter, Everly Knollmiller, sister Maureen Hedgecock, Brother Norman Bortscheller(Patricia) and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bonnie was much loved and appreciated by all who knew her. A special thank you is extended to all her caregivers, Eloisa, Cilia, Alma, Ruby, Marlene, Deborah, and Christina.

Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 43-775 Deep Canyon Road, Palm Desert, CA. 92260 December 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. A rosary will precede Mass.

Any donations can be made to Fr. Lincoln at Sacred Heart Church in lieu of flowers.

Forest lawn of Rancho Mirage is handling all arrangements.
