I was on Balboa Island yesterday with my husband and remember when I went there with Cindy when I was very young. We were best friends for years but lost touch. I decided to look her up and found she had passed. Tears and sadness overwhelmed me but then I thought I´m here where we had such a fun time and I know she was smiling down at me. So sorry to the whole family. Mary Bonetti Spratt.

We met and worked together at Pier 111 (mid-1980's), you worked the bar and I was in the kitchen. Good times...you will be missed.

This is a surprise for me. I can't beleive this one Cindy. I will miss you. You will also be special to me. My prayers are with your family now. Jesus is watching over them as they go through this. We never know why, but Jesus does.

I still cry a tear daily missing my girlfriend. I go to pick up the phone to call her, because for a couple seconds its hard to believe shes gone.
R.I.P. my best girlfriend. One day i will see you again, standing with our Jesus..We will laugh together again..

I knew Cindy in 7th grade at DeAnza High School. She was a sweet and loving girl that touched my life...if only briefly. When she moved away we lost touch, but I never forgot her. God Blesses her and those that have known her...

I remember Cindy from high school, and she ALWAYS impresssed me with her bubbly personality! We didn't know each other well, but knew of each other.. She was always sweet to me as I was pretty shy in high school. I remember when she worked at a clothes boutique downtown and she was so helpful to me. She had a personality that I envied. I am sorry for your loss.

My Thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time.
My name is Tenny Sebastian. You probably don't evrn remember me. We met way back in the late 60's. I have thought of her many times but I have not been in Palm Springs for many years. I live in Malibu. and have usually always gone westward surfing and sailing to Mexico, Maui. and the So Pacific. I was in Palm Spring this Thanksgiving and it brought back such wonderful memories of the time I was lucky enough to be able to spend time with Cindy and her girlfriend who's father was the mayor . When I got back home I looked on the internet to see if I could find her to just say hi and see how she was doing. While I was in Palm Springs I asked people if the restarauant was still doing well. I wanted to stop by and say hi to anybody that was there so they could pass on good thoughts to her. I am in such shock and sadness to hear of her passing and want all of her family to know I send my condolences and LOVE........

We thank you for all the good things you have given during our departeds earthly life. O Father,in your great mercy,accept our prayer that the Gates of Paradise may be opened for your servent.In our turn,may we too be comforted by the words of faith until we greet Christ in glory and are united with you and our departed. Dear Banducci Family: Have not seen Cindy in many years, but she and her mother were inseperable. Cindy always had a smile when we ate at both of their rest. in Cathedral City and we were treated like royalty. Our thoughts are with you always.

How many times did we stumble on the tennis court and how many times did we laugh ?
I met you and knew that COD would never be the same..its became a more friendly place...All.. because of u.
Never would have started tennis at COD in ' 71 except that you were smaller than me,cute, adorable and needed a partner.So, I signed up .
We ran into each other occasionally and as always.

CINDY, YOU WERE ONE OF THE KINDEST SWEETEST MOST GIVING FRIENDS THAT I EVER HAD. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER AND THINK ABOUT ALL OF THE FUN PARTIES THAT YOU HOSTED AT YOUR HOUSE. YOUR BROTHERS 50TH BIRTHDAY WAS THE BEST. HALLOWEEN AND CHRISTMAS WERE TWO OF MY FAVORITE HOLIDAYS BECAUSE OF YOU.I SO MISS MY LATE NIGHT PHONE CALLS AND HEARING YOU SAY "HEY MELLIE ARE YOU STILL UP" AND THEN WE WOULD TALK FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS. I HELD THE ANGEL BEAR THAT YOU GAVE ME A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AND I CRIED TEARS OF HAPPINESS JUST THINKING ABOUT YOU AND ALL OF THE LAUGHING WE USED TO DO ON THE PHONE EVERY NIGHT. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family in this difficult time! I only knew cin for a few years, but she was a loving and caring person who was there for me in a difficult time I was going though in life.
Cin, thanks for all the great momeries you shared with me. We shared alot of great times and i'll never forget your free spirted fun loving self. Cindy "Dude" I've known you since I was just a little girl, and you were a very good friend to my sister Gina who I know is having a very hard time with this. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

We already have been missing Banducci's restaurant for several years, and now are truly saddened by Cindi's passing. We were close friends with her family's cousin, "Enrico" Banducci in SF; we'll miss you, Cin.
