Eileen McCants Obituary
Eileen MacDonald McCants, loving wife of Dick McCants, was born in New York City and passed away Jan. 27, 2015. Eileen was educated in New York and graduated from Marymount College in Manhattan with a teaching credential. Eileen taught school in New York until moving to Los Angeles in the early 1970s. Eileen married Dick McCants in 1974 and lived together in Redondo Beach, California, Long Beach, California, and Seal Beach, California, while Eileen continued teaching grade school until 1993 when she retired. Eileen was a light-spirited individual and she and her husband loved going to the Palm Springs area in the winter and Big Bear Lake, California, in the summer, and permanently moved to Rancho Mirage, California, in 2008. Eileen leaves her loving husband Dick; a sister and brother-in-law Muriel and Harry Zarb; a brother and sister-in-law Gerald and Nancy MacDonald; together with fourteen nieces and nephews. Eileen will be truly missed by all and will remain in our hearts forever.
