supported myriad educational activities, including the establishment of the Harvey and Lori Sarner Lectureship in Polish History. Harvey's commitment to humanitarian causes and to higher education will long be
remembered. We extend our deepest condolences to his wife Lori and daughters' Surah Sarner Banaszynski and Karya Sarner Kanyas, and to the Sarner's grandchildren.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.
The times I was able to spend with Harvey and the laughs we had will always be remembered.

Lori and Family: If you asked me who was indeed "the kindest man I ever met" (as Robin said in the Palm Springs papers) I'd surely agree that it was Harvey. Such a rare and wonderful combination of marvelous intelligence and compassion---truly a "one in a million" sort of man. Bill and I both admired Harvey (and you!) so much for your giving spirit, wonderful enthusiasm, and constant commitment. It would be hard to number the individuals you have touched... but we know that each life was changed. Harvey will live on in our lives as a memorable model of a selfless life devoted to important things. Quite simply, we loved him. And we send our love to you, the children, William and all the many friends who are sharing our feelings just now. Nancy (and Bill) Barker

Dear Lori and all the Sarner family:
The good works, "mitzvot" and thoughtful lovingkindnesses of Harvey Sarner will resonate for a long time with so many people in so many locales. Harvey was an exceptional example of courage and
compassion.
In reaching out with his love of people, his intelligence and generosity, Harvey was a giant of a "mensch" who modestly practiced "tikkun olam" -- repairing the world.
To me, Harvey will remain an enduring inspiration.

Dear Lori: Mark & I are grief stricken on your loss. Prayers are offered for you, Surah, Kyra and all the grandchildren to comfort you all in this hour. God Bless You. When Harvey had us come to his office once, he remarked, "young man you could be as big as MediDentic one day". Today, Lori, because of your husband, we have over 300 dental clients. We will be eternally grateful for his confidence in us and his encouragement to begin our own practice. He was truly a visionary. All 300 of those clients are about to receive our letter of endearing gratitude for his life.
