Hazel Ursegay Obituary

Hazel Berry Ursegay was born on August 18, 1921 and went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 20, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Vivian Young; one daughter, Janice Hinkle; three sisters, Dot Manley, Willa Jenkins, and Helen Young; and four brothers, Ed Young, Harold Young, Rex Young, and Freddie Young. She is survived by her husband, Larry Ursegay of Yucca Valley; two daughters, Jane Sprueill of La Quinta and Sally Bryant of Yucca Valley; five sons, Arthur Manley of Bermuda Dunes, Fred Manley of Yucca Valley, Dennis Manley of La Quinta, and Allen Earhart and Clifton Earhart both of Indio. She was the very proud grandmother of 22 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all of her family. She was a long-standing member of the Indio Foursquare Church before moving to Yucca Valley where she became a member of the Living Word Chapel. She also attended the Bread of Life Mission in Landers. Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Green Acres Memorial Park and Mortuary in Bloomington, Calif.
