James Elliott Obituary

James R. Elliott Jr., 73, passed away on November 4, 2011 at his home in La Quinta, Calif. He was born in Bedford, Penn. on June 8, 1938 to James and Margaret Elliott. He was an airplane mechanic while in the Air Force. He went on to work for GTE and retired as a telephone specialist. During his retirement, he enjoyed traveling about in his RV, fixing up cars and spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, David Elliott, Lisa Simmons, Joe (Sandy) Elliott, Tammy (Kimo) Singler, Tara (Ed) Pritchard; grandchildren, Christopher, Alex, Dallas, Marley, Brittany, James, Sarah, Hannah, Evan, Skyler and Dakota. He was preceded in death by his son, Darrell. Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2011 at Wiefels Palm Springs Chapel from 9-11:00 AM. A graveside service will be held that afternoon at 2:15 PM at Riverside National Cemetery. FitzHenry-Wiefels Palm Desert is in charge of arrangements.

I met Jim Elliot in 1983, I was about 23 years old and he taught me a lot about business and taught me a lot about Amway what books to read and I think about that man all the time. Drake instrumental in my life give me great Direction. and I still use those directions and I Stay steady and fast. This thing was to read book listen to tapes and use your Genius everyday and apply it if everything that you do.

RIP Jim, You and Larry can now go Bike Riding in heaven. I'm sure he was waiting at the pearly gates sitting on a trimph and holding a Husky for you. Rest my friend you are in a much better place now.
