James Smith Obituary

James Wesley Smith, 59, of La Quinta passed away on August 28th, 2006. He was born April 3rd, 1947 to Jimmy and Rosa Lee Smith in Searcy, Arkansas. Jim was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Ronalee. Jim was an established real estate professional and accomplished sportsman. He also dearly loved his volunteer activities and association with Southwest Community Church. He is also survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Shari and Mike Rebitzke of Vancouver WA, and Julie and Matt Schrady of San Diego CA, his 5 grandchildren, his sisters, Ryan Clubb of Costa Mesa CA, Rose Thompson of Laguna Beach CA, and brother Joe Smith of Manhattan KS.

A memorial celebrating Jim's life will be held 4:00 P.M. Friday at Southwest Community Church in Indian Wells . The family requests that in lieu of flowers please make your donations to Celebrate Recovery at Southwest Community Church.
