My sincere condolences to the Prieto-Dodd families.
I had not seen Jeanette since one of the Tribal gift giving venues sometime ago. I'm shocked and saddened for your loss. Jeannette grew into quite the woman of many accomplishments in her short time here; proud to be sure. Her spirit will live on within her family and the community she gave so much to. Peace be to the hearts of those greatly suffering from her absence.

We were stunned and deeply saddened to learn about about the loss of Jeannette to her very dear family, friends and community. Lisa and I immediately started sharing so many memories of Jeanette like when Lisa and her worked together at LCT and when they were roommates. The way Jeannette would endure Brian and my exploits with her usual wry comments. I traveled with Jeannette on a high school organized trip to Europe and enjoyed her friendship and sisterly wisdom. It was absolutely no surprise to anyone who knew Jeannette her demeanor and natural leadership qualities would take her to the prominent positions she would hold in the furtherment of her community. Our prayers, thoughts and support go out to all of you in this most distressing time. Our lives were touched and enriched by her.

I went to school with all the Prietos, I was born in Palm Springs.
I am so saddened. She was too young, but is with the Angels now.

Always is sad to say goodby to a loved one, but knowing that The Lord wanted His Angel be with Him helps to accept His will, Jeannette was that Angel and for ever she will be in my heart and prayers.

Jeannette was inspiring in her commitment to the Tribe and its legacy. I had the opportunity to interact with her on many occasions and she was always focused, sincere and very smart. Her passing is a great loss, not only for her family and the Tribe, but, for the entire Valley. I send my deepest sympathy.

Jeannette was a special lady and I hold lots of fond memories of our time together at Las Casuelas Terraza. I knew then that she would be a powerful woman and she proved my suspicions right. It was great knowing her and I miss her and know she will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

I always knew when you were in the building because of the smell of your perfume, it was such a distinct smell i could just follow it through the halls and i knew exactly where to find you!
