1952 - 2017
Our dear Joanne Rae Kreling of Palm Springs, California passed away on September 10, 2017. Though she struggled with cancer her last few months she was able to spend special time with loved ones and had family and friends at her bedside during her last few days. Joanne is survived by her daughter, Chelsea Kreling, her adored grandchildren Amber Dodillet and Eian Dillard, her brother, Thomas M. Bacon and her sister, Jolene M. Kreling.
Joanne moved to the Palm Springs area over 40 years ago from Hermosa Beach. She loved the beach area although was drawn to the desert and Palm Springs. It was there she raised her daughter, worked in the hospitality community, and relished her group of friends and colleagues. Joanne was truly a free spirit who perfected the art of living in the moment. Her kindness and happy spirit (Rae of sunshine) will be sadly missed although her memory will always bring a smile.
The family will announce a memorial/celebration service at a later date.

A special beam of beautiful light has been removed from my life. I will carry my sister Joanne's kind spirit and loving humor in my heart, and her gentleness towards others as an ever present example to live up to, even now. That is my new beam of light.

we were good friends for a while when i lived next door. always kind and warm. loved flowers and her children so much, was shocked to hear. may she rest in peace. brad
