Grandpa John was always so positive and recently would heckle me about waiting a great grand child from me hahaha. I wish he could have met my husband in person but his words were always love and admiration for his career in the military. I'm going to miss him so much but I know he's is no longer in pain and is at peace. I'm going to remember him how he wanted me to with a smile and remeberance of the beautiful soul we have to say goodbye to. Love you grandpa John ❣

My Dad was the best Dad that a girl could hope for. He was protective, loving, understanding, and was always there with great advice. He would drive 800 miles, one way, to come help me sort out a major problem. I don't think that there was ever a person that my Dad didn't like or who didn't like him. He always had a smile and a joke to tell. I respected his ability to be there to help others in need without even thinking twice. I aspire to be just like him. I will miss him with every breath I take.

John was my hero from childhood and still is. He was well thought of and admired in our birthday, Detroit, Mi, he knew everyone and they knew him. He used to write me letters when he was in the Army and get peeved when I corrected some of his words. We drifted apart but kept in touch. I miss him and will never forget his face and our last conversation together. Rene Mosely, our sister and Donald Dobine, uncle are close family members.

John was also a night club singer in San Diego when supper clubs were still in vogue. His deep voice resembled that of Joe Williams.
